Review by hotel critic
Upon my recent visit to Lombard Townhouse, I encountered an establishment that caters to the essentials of a comfortable stay in Dublin. The room presented a clean and spacious setting, with a focus on functionality over extravagance. The provision of tea and coffee facilities was a simple yet appreciated touch, complemented by the efficient housekeeping maintaining spotless cleanliness. While the room decor could benefit from some rejuvenation, the large and comfy bed provided a restful night's sleep. Basic amenities like the electric kettle and free toiletries were sufficient for a short stay. The flat-screen TV, albeit requiring a remote deposit, served its purpose for entertainment. In terms of value, Lombard Townhouse strikes a balance between affordability and convenience. The location is ideal for those attending events at the nearby venues in Dublin. The staff's friendliness and the proximity to the necessary amenities add to its appeal for a no-frills accommodation option. For travelers seeking a budget-friendly choice without compromising on location, Lombard Townhouse provides a suitable choice for a practical and straightforward stay in the city.
